Sponsor; Sweepstakes Period. Meow Wolf, Inc. (“Meow Wolf”), with its principal place of business at 2600 Camino Entrada, Santa Fe, NM 87507, is the sponsor and administrator of The Great Interdimensional Getaway Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”). The Sweepstakes begins at 10:00:01 am CT on Friday, June 30, 2023 and ends at 11:59:59 pm CT on Thursday, July 13, 2023 (“Sweepstakes Period”), as measured by Meow Wolf’s system and records. All times are expressed in Central time (“CT”). Decisions by Meow Wolf concerning matters with respect to the Sweepstakes are final.
Eligibility. All legal residents of the United States of America who are age 18 or over (19 and over in Alabama and Nebraska) are eligible to enter the Sweepstakes, however, current employees of Meow Wolf and its corporate affiliates and members of their immediate family and household are not eligible to enter. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law and outside of the United States. This is a nationwide sweepstakes. Only one entry in the Sweepstakes per email account or per person during the Sweepstakes Period may be submitted.
Any attempt by an entrant (also referred to as entrants) to acquire more than the one (1) entry by using numerous email addresses, registrations, identities, or any other methods will void that entrant’s entries and that entrant may be disqualified. The use of automated software or computer programs to enter the Sweepstakes is prohibited, and any individual who uses or attempts to use such methods to enter will be disqualified. Only entries containing all required information will be considered valid. Incomplete and/or multiple entries will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses. Meow Wolf will not acknowledge receipt of entries. By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules, including eligibility requirements. Responsibility for receipt of entry by Meow Wolf rests solely with the entrant. All entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period to be eligible.
How to Enter. An individual meeting the eligibility requirements above may enter the Sweepstakes for a chance to win the prize ($3,000 cash, two tickets to three Meow Wolf exhibitions, a $400 Meow Wolf gift card and Meow Wolf swag as described below in more detail) by mailing a letter to Meow Wolf as described in the next paragraph. Individuals may also enter after purchasing one or more tickets to Meow Wolf’s exhibit, The Real Unreal, in Grapevine, Texas (the “Grapevine Exhibit”) and clicking on a link emailed to them and completing the basic information requested on or before 11:59:59 pm CT on July 13, 2023. Meow Wolf will use good faith efforts to email a link to enter the Sweepstakes to persons who previously purchased tickets to the Grapevine Exhibit (“Grapevine Ticket”) by contacting them at the email they used to purchase Grapevine Tickets. Any person who previously purchased a Grapevine Ticket may enter the Sweepstakes by visiting https://meow.wf/getaway, or clicking on the link emailed to them and completing the basic information requested on or before 11:59:59 pm CT on July 13, 2023. Regardless of the number of Grapevine Tickets purchased in a transaction, or the number of transactions made for Grapevine Tickets, only one entry per email account or per person will be made.
Individuals may also enter the Sweepstakes by mailing a letter/postcard to Meow Wolf, Inc., 2538 Camino Estrada Suite #100. Santa Fe, NM 87507, Attn: Marketing Dept., The Great Interdimensional Getaway Sweepstakes which lists the entrant’s full legal name, valid email address (where they will be contacted if they win), and a signed statement stating “Please enter me in the Sweepstakes and I hereby confirm I meet the eligibility requirements set forth in the Official Rules”. Any entry sent by mail must be postmarked no later than 11:59:59 pm CT on Thursday, July 13, 2023 in order to be valid. All entries must be received by Meow Wolf by Thursday, August 3, 2023 to be entered into the Sweepstakes. Meow Wolf is not responsible for entries it does not receive, regardless of the reason.
Selection of Winner (1 total). There will be one winner of the Sweepstakes. On approximately Friday, August 4, 2023, one winner will be selected at random by a computer-generated randomizer from all eligible entrants in the Sweepstakes. The odds of winning the Sweepstakes will be determined by the number of eligible entries.
Prizes: One winner will receive a prize consisting of: (A) Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000) cash (to be paid by check) to use towards visiting each of Meow Wolf’s three other exhibits (i.e., House of Eternal Return in Santa Fe, NM; Convergence Station in Denver, CO and Omega Mart in Las Vegas, NV); (B) a voucher for two (2) tickets to each of these three Meow Wolf exhibits; (C) a Four Hundred Dollar ($400) Meow Wolf gift card that may be used for merchandise and ticket purchases to Meow Wolf exhibits and (D) a Meow Wolf swag bag. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prize is $3,950. Tickets to Meow Wolf exhibits are subject to availability, blackout dates and may not be used for special events, including concerts. Tickets are also subject to Meow Wolf’s current terms of use (https://meowwolf.com/terms-of-use) and code of conduct (https://meowwolf.com/about/code-of-conduct). Terms and conditions of the Meow Wolf gift card may be located at https://faq.meowwolf.com/gift-card-faqs. No refunds, exchanges (except for tickets to Meow Wolf exhibits as permitted in the ordinary course of business), transfers of prizes or cash substitutions are permitted. Meow Wolf is not responsible for prizes that are lost or stolen. Ticket vouchers must be used by September 30, 2024 in order to be redeemed. Taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Award of Prizes. Within three business days after the random drawing, Meow Wolf will notify the winner by emailing the email account used to purchase the Grapevine Ticket(s) or the email listed in the letter/postcard sent to Meow Wolf if the winner entered by mail and will follow up with two additional emails. The winner must respond to the notification email within ten (10) days after the first email was sent in order to claim their prize. If any notification is returned as undeliverable or if a winner fails to respond by this deadline or is determined to be ineligible (i.e., they are not a US resident, or of legal age to enter), the winner will forfeit the prize and an alternate winner will be selected at random from the remaining valid entries. Additional alternate winner(s) may continue to be selected until the prize has been claimed. Meow Wolf is not liable if an email is sorted into an entrant’s “spam” folder or similar, not responded to within the time allowed, or returned as undeliverable. Meow Wolf may request that the winner submit proof of eligibility and winner must sign Meow Wolf’s affidavit and a release to claim the prize. Meow Wolf will arrange for the delivery of the prize only after the winner is validated and the requisite forms completed and returned, which must be received by Meow Wolf within ten (10) days of making contact with the winner. If any winner fails to complete the requests above within ten days of making contact, Meow Wolf reserves the right to invalidate the winner’s entry and select an alternate winner.
Taxes. The value of the prize will be reported for tax purposes as required by law and winner will be mailed a Form 1099. Winner alone is responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes related to the prize. Winner must provide the Meow Wolf with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number (TIN) before the prize is awarded.
Publicity; Consent to Use Personal Information. By entering the Sweepstakes, regardless of whether an entrant is selected as a winner, entrants agree that the Meow Wolf may disclose personal information provided by them in the Sweepstakes to third parties and use such information for marketing and other purposes to the extent allowed by law. The winner consents to the use by Meow Wolf and/or any of its corporate affiliates of their name for promotional and marketing purposes in any and all media now known or hereinafter invented without territorial or time limitations and waives any claims to compensation, royalty, or remuneration for such use.
Release and No Liability. By entering the Sweepstakes, all entrants release Meow Wolf, Instagram, LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., and each of their corporate affiliates, and the foregoing entities’ members, managers, landlords, directors, officers, employees, representatives, partners and agents (collectively, “Released Entities”), from all liabilities, claims, expenses, costs, injuries, losses (including death, personal injury, loss, and/or disability), and damages (collectively, “Losses”) incurred in connection with the Sweepstakes (including entering the Sweepstakes) and/or visiting a Meow Wolf exhibit in connection with the Sweepstakes. Entrants hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages. All claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys’ fees and court costs. All causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. Entrants agree to execute and deliver such documents provided by Meow Wolf to these terms. Released Entities are responsible for computer, tablet, mobile device, or software errors, “glitches,” or failures, illegible entries or incomplete submissions, or damage to their computer or personal devices in connection with entering the Sweepstakes.
Winner. For the name of the winner, after September 30, 2023, please mail a letter/postcard to Meow Wolf, Inc., 2538 Camino Estrada Suite #100. Santa Fe, NM 87507 Attn: Marketing Dept., The Great Interdimensional Getaway Sweepstakes – Name of Winner.
